Position Summary
Plug Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting with the Fuel Cell System Testing and Validation in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of your academic studies and interests. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug’s products.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and execute tests plans and protocols (DVP&R) to assess fuel cell performance, materials, and technologies. Collaborate with senior engineers on design verification and validation.Continuously improve testing systems, protocols, data analysis procedures, and equipment.Conduct system characterization, sensitivity testing, and Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize operational conditions.Automate operations where applicable and troubleshooting equipment as needed.Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders.Hands-on experience in lab environments, familiarity with testing equipment and tools, and experience operating test stations using LabVIEW or similar softwareEducation and Qualification
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or a related programMust have reliable transportation to the officeExperience with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB or VBA.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess solid hands-on approach to problem-solvingDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailExcellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivatedEstimated Base Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00
