Who We Are
We are looking for an experienced System Integration Test Engineer in the automotive domain, who will be responsible for testing complex embedded automotive systems, contributing to test automation, and ensuring high-quality delivery by collaborating with development and system engineering teams, activity will be done on-site in Craiova, Romania.
Location: Craiova (on-site), 6 months (possibility of extension)
What You’ll Be Doing
Analyze, review, and understand system requirements and architecture models in IBM RhapsodyCreate test specifications based on requirements and design modelsDevelop automated test cases using dSPACE AutomationDesk and execute them in dSPACE ControlDeskExecute automated and manual tests, perform exploratory testing, and run basic vehicle checks (e.g., smoke tests)Analyze test results, document issues, and report defects using ALM tools (e.g., DOORS NextGen, EWM)Understand system functionality to define test boundaries and ensure proper coverageSupport setup and maintenance of test environments including HW/SW simulations and dSPACE HILConnect and configure ECUs, restbus simulations, measurement devices, and test benchesEvaluate and document test results, providing technical evidence (oscillograms, signal traces, logs)Collaborate within AGILE development teams, contributing during sprint planning and reviewsProvide on-site customer test support when requiredMaintain effective communication with external project teams
What You’ll Bring Along
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 4-8 years of experience as a System Integration Test Engineer in automotive embedded systems.Good understanding of electronics and embedded systemsExperience with IBM Rhapsody, HIL testing, system modeling, and architecture interpretationHands-on experience with dSPACE AutomationDesk / ControlDeskKnowledge of lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)Experience with system testing methodologies and automotive microcontrollersProgramming or scripting skills: C / C++ / PythonExperience with AGILE workflows and ALM tools (e.g., DOORS NextGen, EWM)Good understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay)ISTQB certification is a plusProactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement in testing and automationExcellent command of both spoken and written English Document .style{ width:930px;padding:15px;}.font-text{ font-family: customfaa3f6eee6874329a13ae; font-size: 16px; font-type:ttf; font-style: Medium;}
