**CTG is seeking to fill a System Administrator-Linux position for our client.** **Location:** Fort Worth, TX **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Install, configure, and maintain UNIX/Linux servers and systems. + Manage system performance, reliability, and security. + Apply patches, upgrades, and software updates. + Ensure proper system backups and recovery processes. + Implement and maintain automation and monitoring solutions. + Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; provide technical support. **Skills:** + Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems. + Experience with system configuration, maintenance, and upgrades. + Familiarity with backup solutions, security policies, and patch management. + Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Bash, Python). + Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. **Experience:** + Proven experience as a UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator or similar role. + Hands-on experience managing Linux servers in enterprise environments. + Knowledge of system security, performance tuning, and backups. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
