Responsibilities:\n

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor\/ Manager the switchboard operator is responsible for answering all incoming calls and forwarding to the correct office or employee. Also assisting in the Mail Center by accurately sorting, posting and delivering mail in a corporate environment.\n

\u2022 Ensure safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
\u2022 Answer all incoming calls at the reception desk
\u2022 Forward all call to the correct office or employee
\u2022 Assist in the Mail center with sorting, posting and delivering mail
\u2022 Assist making copies for customers when needed
\u2022 Maintain time, volume and delivery records.
\u2022 Ensure the highest levels of customer care.
\u2022 Order office supplies, maintain inventory of supplies
\u2022 Provide backup for coworkers when not available
\u2022 Other duties as assigned.\n

Qualifications:\n

\u2022 High school diploma required
\u2022 Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
\u2022 Working knowledge of Microsoft suite, computers, and relevant software applications; excellent keyboarding skills
\u2022 Familiar with appropriate customer service principles and practices; must be customer service focused
\u2022 Professional personal presentation
\u2022 Strong organizational and planning skills; detail oriented \u2022 Strong verbal and communication skills
