We are seeking a dedicated Switchboard Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle multiple lines and extensions, ensuring efficient and friendly communication with our customers. This role is vital in providing world-class service and connecting customers with the appropriate departments.

ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct high volume calls with multiple lines and extensions.Take messages and respond to caller inquiries.Provide company information to callers.Perform light data entry tasks.Complete administrative tasks and small projects as assigned.Distribute mail.Greet visitors warmly and professionally.Essential SkillsProficiency in handling high volume calls.Strong data entry and administrative skills.Customer service expertise.Order entry experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.3+ years of experience in administrative support.Work Environment

This position is onsite in Glendale, CA, operating from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. The office is situated on a large campus featuring nice buildings, roomy desk spaces, and spread-out areas. There are break rooms and outdoor areas available for taking breaks. The environment is designed to promote a positive and productive work experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
