**Job Title: Swiss Lathe Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated CNC Swiss Machinists for both 1st and 2nd shifts. Our work schedule runs Monday through Thursday, offering a 4x10 hour shift from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm or 3:30 pm to 1:30 am, with additional hours available on Fridays and Saturdays. This role offers competitive compensation with potential for growth.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC SWISS Screw Machine, specializing in Swiss and Hanwha SWISS for precise metal components in a job shop environment.
+ Ensure daily set-ups and meet production set-up and run times.
+ Install tooling, set up, and program Swiss Hanwha lathes independently.
+ Change tools and edit programs to enhance efficiency.
+ Utilize appropriate measuring tools and equipment.
+ Select suitable cutting tools, machine fixture clamps, and soft jaws.
+ Read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches.
+ Inspect and ensure the quality of work produced.
+ Comfortably work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changeovers.
+ Train operators on running equipment effectively.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in setting Swiss Machines.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.
+ Capability to work unsupervised and exhibit excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong drive to learn and grow.
+ Team player mindset.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Hanwha and similar machines is a plus.
+ Ability to manage frequent changeovers.
+ Strong communication skills for operator training.
