Our client, a leading player in the logistics industry, is seeking a Swing /Day Forklift Operator (AM/PM) to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse department supporting the efficient flow of operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization. **Job Title:** Forklift Operator (AM/PM) **Location:** Gilroy, CA **Pay Range:** $22.66 per hour **Shift:** 8 hours per shift **What's the Job?** + Transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots. + Replenish and restock pick slots in a timely manner while ensuring all safety and quality standards are met. + Inspect items for damage and perform temperature and quality checks as needed. + Utilize forklifts and other equipment to move and organize stock efficiently. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). **What's Needed?** + High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. + 6 - 12 months of experience in a warehouse environment. + Complete Forklift/Power Jack training and obtain certification; Stand-up Forklift experience is required. + Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, standing, and lifting. + Prior experience operating a forklift within a warehouse setting is preferred.
