Software Test Engineer - Boston, MA

Description

Execution of test orders for highly scalable enterprise applications based on a multi-tier architecture

\t• Derivation of test cases from functional and non-functional requirements

\t• Defining the test objectives and criteria of the test ends

\t• Development of software test cases and automated test sequences

\t• Creation of test schedules

\t• Support in the implementation of system integration in test systems

\t• Carrying out software testing and customer acceptance tests

\t• Analysis and documentation of test results and creation of test reports

\t• Independent and team-oriented project work

\t• Close and cross-location cooperation with other testers and software developers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Solid IT knowledge based on a university degree or comparable professional trainingKnowledge of agile project management methods, e.g. ScrumPractical experience as a tester in an agile project teamISTQB Foundation and experience in the area of load and performance testing is an advantageKnowledge of Java and web technologies, as well as Windows and Linux systems

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university, or equivalent experience

Experience with SAP is a plusExperience with Microsoft OfficeJob Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lowell, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.50/hr.
