As a Sustainability Apprentice, you will actively contribute to advancing sustainability initiatives that support our customers, markets, and internal teams. Your role will evolve depending on ongoing projects and priorities, offering you broad exposure to sustainability topics in a specialty chemicals context. **Key tasks and responsibilities:** + Developing and structuring business intelligence on sustainability topics, including competitor practices, customer expectations, industry initiatives, and upcoming regulations + Supporting the creation of internal sustainability communication materials, such as contributions to the monthly sustainability newsletter + Assisting with external sustainability communication content used in customer meetings and presentations + Supporting colleagues in responding to customer sustainability requests, including regulatory questions, product carbon footprint data, and detailed product information **We count on you to:** + Hands-on experience in sustainability within a global, science-driven organization + Exposure to real business challenges at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and customer engagement + Opportunities to develop analytical, communication, and project-management skills + A collaborative environment where curiosity, learning, and initiative are encouraged **You will bring:** + Enrollment in an apprenticeship degree program (Master) related to sustainability, with ideally an orientation to marketing and/or business analysis + Interest in or sensitivity to scientific and technical topics + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a project-oriented context + Knowledge of AI tools and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) + A proactive and organized mindset: output-driven, rigorous, curious, flexible, and communicative + Strong ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate information clearly + Fluency in English and French **You will get:** + Competitive allowance + Other benefits such as lunch and transportation allowances **Additional information:** + Apprenticeship contract (12 months) + Location: Aubervilliers, France + Start date: March/April 2026 + Work schedule: Full-time, Day shift About us + Syensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
