You will be responsible for surveying boundaries, conducting topographic surveys, and construction staking for new commercial builds. You will manage a small team and utilize advanced equipment like Trimble and Robotic Total Station to capture detailed images of plots. Your communication skills will be essential as you liaise with contractors and adjacent landowners.
ResponsibilitiesConduct boundary surveys and topographic surveys.Perform construction staking for new commercial plots.Manage a team of one helper.Utilize Trimble equipment and Robotic Total Station to document plot images.Communicate effectively with contractors and adjacent landowners.Ensure process-oriented approach in all surveying tasks.Essential Skills4 years of relevant experience in surveying and construction.Experience leading crews of 1-2 persons.Proficiency in reading construction plans and related documents.Knowledge of topographic surveys, robotic total station, GPS, ALTA surveys, and construction staking.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of current experience in construction staking, boundary surveying, topographic survey, and ALTA surveys.2+ years of experience with Robotic Total Station or other GPS equipment.Strong communication skills for engaging with contractors and the community.Work EnvironmentThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable civil engineering and land surveying firm. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.50 - $41.00/hr.
