Job Description
Join a dynamic team where you will assist a Crew Chief in operating a field survey crew. Your primary objectives will focus on ensuring the quality, accuracy, and thoroughness of work, while meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining public relations. You will be responsible for operating equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, protecting and maintaining equipment and vehicles, and accurately collecting field data. The role requires significant outdoor work in various terrains and weather conditions, with some overnight travel.
Responsibilities
Assist in the operation of a field survey crew.Ensure the quality and accuracy of field survey data.Meet regulatory requirements and uphold public relations standards.Operate and maintain survey equipment and vehicles.Accurately and efficiently collect and locate field data.Maintain a safe work environment.Essential Skills
One (1) to two (2) years of progressive experience in land survey field operations.Proficiency with land survey equipment, such as total stations and GPS.Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.Excellent problem-solving skills.Sound functional and technical skills in surveying and construction.Aligned with core values.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.Experience in EFB data collection preferred.Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.Cleared check and negative drug test result.Good technical skills with a process-oriented mindset.Detail-oriented, methodical, and precise.Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
