Cushman & Wakefield have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Surveyor to join our market-leading London Valuations team. Our London based valuation advisory teams advise on a range of sectors including offices, retail, industrial, hospitality, leisure and healthcare. We have a prestigious client base which covers institutions, FTSE quoted property companies and numerous debt providers.
This role is to work specifically in our Central London team. The Valuations business provide a mix of valuation work to a range of top tier clients including funds, banks, central London estates and overseas investors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an MRICS qualified surveyor to join a leading team operating in a fast paced and dynamic market.
Responsibilities
Undertake existing valuation mandates and start to build contacts to attract new businessWork on a mix of regular mandates as well as loan security and acquisition valuationsWork in an efficient and successful mannerPrepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clientsBe able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervisionTo promote the service line to existing and prospective clientsTo start to develop a profile in the marketplace through building key client relationshipsPlay an active role in the development of more junior team membersTo prepare valuation reports, in various formatsSkills
Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPointAnalytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and informationAble to form and justify opinions on property valuesConfidence in prioritisation and working to deadlinesAble to think ‘outside the box’Able to build client relationships and create new businessKnowledge
Familiar with Argus Valuation softwareMRICS qualifiedExperience
