Description
Support planning, coordination, and execution of land surveying projects from start to finish
Manage and mentor field and office staff on assigned project tasks
Oversee preparation and review of survey data, field notes, CAD files, maps, and final deliverables
Perform or review boundary analysis, deed research, and survey calculations
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, progress reporting, and change order preparation
Review proposals, estimates, and technical documentation
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery
Occasionally perform field work, including data collection, construction layout, and recovery of survey control
Handle general office tasks such as CAD drafting, data downloads, and research as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of combined field and office surveying experience
Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson
Ability to perform complex boundary analysis and maintain high-quality deliverables
Experience preparing proposals or estimates is a plus
Proven ability to manage staff and juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
State Surveyor license or ability to obtain one is preferred
Willingness to travel to field sites when required
