We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of land surveying projects from concept through completion. About the Role
As a Survey Project Manager, you will oversee survey operations, guide project teams, and ensure that deliverables meet technical and quality standards while staying on schedule and within budget. You will play a vital role in supporting leadership, mentoring staff, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the planning and execution of survey projects in collaboration with discipline leadership.
+ Manage project staffing, supervise field crews, and coordinate day‑to‑day operations.
+ Develop and refine field scopes, collect and reduce survey data, and manage project plans and final deliverables.
+ Oversee drafting and CAD production; prepare survey maps, proposals, and technical reports.
+ Support scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and task development.
+ Prepare progress reports, assist with change orders, and support billing and payment tracking.
+ Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
+ Review maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial imagery to determine project approaches and methodologies.
+ Perform office tasks including CAD drafting, data processing, deed and map research, and project documentation.
+ Collect field data using survey equipment and software when needed.
+ Assist with survey control recovery, construction layout, monumentation, subsurface utility investigations, and field photo documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in surveying, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
+ Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
+ Experience in drafting, land record research, and client or business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
+ New York State Survey License.
+ PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) certification preferred.
Work Environment
This role offers a dynamic blend of office and field work. You will balance CAD drafting, data analysis, and client documentation with hands‑on surveying tasks as needed. Success in this role requires strong project management capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

This is a Permanent position based out of White Plains, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
