Job Title: Support SpecialistJob Description

We are looking for a dedicated Support Specialist to coordinate investigations and resolve information system issues. The role requires conducting research to understand and resolve technology problems, communicating updates to affected users, and following up after issues are resolved. You will use help desk tracking software to recommend improvements for user systems and initiate onboarding procedures for new users. Ensuring quick and effective response times to resolve requests is crucial. The role also involves coordinating referrals to appropriate personnel for repairs, training, services, or software issues, and collaborating with a third-party company for cybersecurity issues.

This position is 100% onsite at our Costa Mesa HQ. Flexible working hours are available, with start times between 7 am to 9 am, though you must adhere to the same schedule daily. You will report to the VP of Administration who is based in Alaska, as is one other team member. Therefore, you will be the only person in the California office and must be able to work independently as support will be remote. Training will also be conducted remotely. The HQ accommodates about 40 people, though the number fluctuates with temporary staff. The company is private equity-backed and frequently acquires additional businesses, meaning you will assist in integrating new companies into the corporate structure.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
