Support Coordinator We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to serve as the primary point of contact for district staff and families regarding student transportation. This role is responsible for managing the entire transportation registration process, supporting routing operations, and ensuring clear communication between stakeholders including bus drivers and district personnel . Pay is $23.00-$24.04/hour depending on experience. Monday - Friday day schedule we need you available from 5:30AM-5:30PM, this will be a 40 hour work week. Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Registration: · Serve as the main contact regarding transportation registration and route details · Support the student transportation registration process from start to finish · Knowledge of school district operations and student transportation policies · Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and empathy · Provide ongoing updates to families and district staff regarding transportation changes · Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of student transportation needs · Maintain organized records of communications, route changes, registration data, and student transportation updates for Medicaid reporting · Participate in district registration events Routing Support: · Collaborate with the Routing Specialist to ensure accurate and efficient route planning · Maintain working knowledge of routing software to assist with updates and troubleshooting · Communicate route changes and student requirement updates to bus staff and district staff in a timely manner · Support bus staff with route change requests ensuring proper documentation and follow-up · Collaborate with team members on special projects Software & System Management: · Provide guidance and training to families and staff on the use of registration software · Monitor registration data and ensure accuracy within the system · Assist in troubleshooting software issues and escalating technical problems when necessary Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred · Experience in customer service, preferably in an educational or transportation setting · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy Preferred Skills: · Experience training others on software systems · Bilingual abilities are a plus · Familiarity with transportation routing software (e.g., Transfinder, VersaTrans, or similar) Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
