JOB SUMMARY: Assist in the Operation of the HSW warehouse and equipment repair facility. Refurbish and repair Food Service Equipment as needed.
Wage Range: $18-$20/hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Warehouse Supply Assistant: (95%)
Regularly print, pick and ship store orders in a safe, cost effective and efficient mannerOrganize, label and ensure proper rotation of all inventory in stockMake adjustments to store invoices before posting to ensure stores are charged appropriately and reflects the proper declination of stockWeekly counts of current inventory to ensure an accurate monthly inventoryReceive new product into the warehouse documenting shortages, overages and damagesEnter new product/inventory into system and forward appropriate information to Corporate Accounting departmentPoint of contact for Supply Accountant for questions related to billing, credits or errorsOrganize labels and ensure proper rotation of all inventoryCollaborate with various Corporate departments to ship special products, new product rollouts, outfit new stores for opening, remodels and conversionsResearch and utilize best shipping methods to ensure speed and cost effectivenessAssist with loading and off-loading vehiclesPrepare for and assist with yearly inventory auditKeep warehouse area clean and organizedEquipment parts and repair: (5%)
Maintain/inventory adequate stock of parts to keep local and out-state repair personnel suppliedWork with Engineering purchasing agent to ensure we have proper products on hand; assist with competitively sourcing productsReceive parts orders and ensure orders are accurate and complete, communicating any discrepancies to the Engineering purchasing agentShip parts to Stationstores or repair personnel, as requestedManage equipment exchange program; ship replacement equipment to Stationstores as neededOccasionally repair equipment received through equipment exchange program or from other repair personnelOccasionally make equipment repairs and recommendations that are cost effective for Company, (i.e. implement new techniques, use of generic parts, replacing equipment as needed)Keep workshop and parts storage clean and organizedAssist Engineering department with special projects, as neededOther:
Complete company forms and reports accuratelyMaintain records of materials used dailyMaintain company tools and equipmentOther duties as requested by supervisorKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Demonstrated knowledge of equipment use, maintenance and safetyMust be able to prioritize incoming requests and complete within a timely period of timeMust be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100+ poundsExcellent communication skills requiredAbility to use voltage/electrical meter to check system componentsAbility to operate and obtain a forklift licenseBasic knowledge of plumbing, mechanical and electrical information and systemsBasic PC knowledgeEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Basic experience in warehouse/supply management preferred, but not requiredEducation/training in maintenance or equipment repairs preferred, but not requiredExperience in equipment maintenance preferred, but not required
