You will manage a team of material and supply planners in a category, enduring that mid- to long-term production/material plans are in place for your assigned plants/lines in line with approved business plans.

You will:
Prepare short and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally for further review and approvalsManage, coach and develop a teamMeet your KPIs including (but not limited to) meeting or exceeding customer fill rate, delivering finished goods inventories at or below target levels and meeting waste objectivesWork closely with internal and external manufacturing, marketing, sales, materials, and replenishment functions to deliver the category's goalsDeliver performance against approved master and detailed schedules and long-range plans (including capacity considerations) and material requirement plans using system toolsBe part of the construction of the supply review and escalating issuesSupport and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets and waste reduction to meet company KPIs Participate in and/or lead supply review meetingsWhat you will bring

As a Supply Planning Manager in an FMCG company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products from manufacturing to the market. You will be responsible for optimizing supply chain operations, balancing supply and demand, and minimizing inventory costs.
What you need to know about this position:
Key Responsibilities:
·Supply Planning and Optimization: o Develop and execute supply plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.o Coordinate with manufacturing plants to ensure timely production and delivery.o Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for optimization.·Supply Chain Collaboration: o Work closely with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and improve efficiency.·Performance Measurement and Analysis: o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and on-time delivery.o Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.o Being agile to serve all categories of customers and support the fast-paced Omni channel growth.·System Implementation and Management: o Implement and manage supply chain planning systems and tools.o Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.·Continuous Improvement: o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs.o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Education / Certifications:
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field. MBA (SCM) is preferred.Job specific requirements:
•6+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in the FMCG industry.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Proficiency in using supply chain planning tools and software.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.•Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
