Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Planning Executive to join our supply-chain team. The role involves planning and managing supply and inventory for finished goods (non-chemical equipment), ensuring that demand is met efficiently while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The Supply Planning Executive will coordinate across functions such as procurement, production/operations, sales/distribution, logistics, and demand forecasting to assure smooth supply flow and customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, sales trends and business requirements.Monitor and manage inventory levels (finished goods, safety stock, buffer stock, etc.) — ensuring adequate stock to meet demand without overstocking.Raise, manage and process purchase orders (POs), purchase requisitions, and follow-up until delivery.Monitor and manage supplier performance, vendor relationships and ensure timely vendor paymentsCoordinate with suppliers/vendors, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, manufacturing/operations teams, and distribution/warehouse partners to ensure timely supply and delivery.Work closely with demand planning / sales / marketing / operations teams to align supply planning with demand changes, promotions, seasonality, new launches, etc.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation to maintain stock accuracy and data integrity (ERP/MRP system or internal systems).Generate and present supply-chain / inventory reports and KPIs (stock-outs, inventory turnover, forecast vs actual, supply-performance, service levels) to senior management.Identify supply-chain risks (e.g. stock-outs, supplier delays, over-stocking) and implement mitigation / corrective actions proactively.Support order fulfilment, distribution planning, and coordinate with logistics / warehouse / distribution teams to ensure on-time delivery to customers/retailers.Continuously analyse supply-chain processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory management.

Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field.2–5 years (or relevant) experience in supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations — preferably in FMCG / consumer goods/manufacturing / distribution setting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to forecast demand, interpret data and trends, and make data-driven decisions.Good communication and collaboration skills — able to coordinate with multiple internal teams (sales, procurement, operations, logistics) and external stakeholders (suppliers, warehouses, distributors).Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); familiarity with ERP / MRP / supply-chain software or systems is a plus.Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, meet deadlines.Basic understanding of inventory metrics / KPIs (stock-out rate, inventory turnover, safety stock, lead times, service levels).Proactive mindset — identifying potential issues early and recommending corrective actions; continuous improvement orientation.
