Supply Planner
Job Title: Supply Planner Job Description The Supply Planner is responsible for tracking the company's current inventory, analyzing available data from demand planning, inventory reports, and other resources to recommend changes in inventory management. This role involves anticipating factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or upcoming promotions, managing the storage of inventory and materials, and maintaining sufficient inventory levels to meet demands without overstocking. Responsibilities + Track and analyze the company's current inventory. + Recommend changes to inventory handling processes. + Anticipate demand-influencing factors like promotions and seasonal changes. + Manage storage of inventory and materials. + Maintain inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking. + Collaborate with operations, production, and other supply chain team members. + Negotiate with vendors and suppliers. Essential Skills + Experience in inventory management and control. + Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems. + Skills in logistics, procurement, and purchasing. + Material and inventory planning expertise. + Strong data entry and supply chain management skills. + Ability to perform forecasting tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. + Comfortable working on the shop floor. Work Environment The position operates from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. This is an onsite role requiring the employee to work on the plant floor for inventory management tasks.
