The anticipated pay range for this position is $25 hourly.  The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Essential Job Functions:

Assigned to account(s) and reports to account(s) on a daily basis on a schedule determined by managerMaintains SurgiTrack, OR and surgical supply chain including storage of excess totes and process of how ST totes are brough to rooms and usedManage physician preference cards (most hospitals)Advise O&M on procedure frequency to determine PAR levels, prebuilds v on-demand, component inventory forecasting including hospital schedule (holiday inventory, etc) and hospital personnel scheduling which may affect surgical demand (i.e., surgeon on vacation)Review surgery schedule and advise hospital personnel to order appropriate corresponding suppliesAdvise the account on PAR levels of SurgiTrack components stocked at the accountAdvise the account on what items to add/change/remove from their preference cardsProcess and track returns from the OR to mitigate returns and determine additional sales opportunitiesBe aware of item health of SurgiTrack specific components at the DC.Manage ordering for add-on casesEnsure oldest versions are being rotated forward for first useOn occasion, work with O&M distribution and to find and stock compatible products to prevent backordersCoordinate component conversions and additions with O&MAssist with version change management

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Knowledge of surgical proceduresKnowledge of functionality of and the nuances between different brands of surgical devicesKnowledge of OR/surgical terminologyKnowledge of OR etiquette/processesKnowledge of supplies and devices required to perform surgical proceduresWhile looking at the surgical schedule, must have the ability to translate the scheduled procedure name into a ‘supply’ procedure nameClear understanding of preference cardsAbility to work with clinical coordinators (i.e., service leaders) to specify supply and device requirements by surgical procedure and surgeon3-5 OR experience (certified as OR tech or equivalent)Ability to learn/utilize appropriate systems (QSight, OMNI, OMDirect, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, hospital OR management systems)
