Vespel® Supply Chain Specialist 

Are you ready to take your career in supply chain management to the next level? Vespel® is looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Specialist to join our team and drive efficiency across our operations. In this critical role, you will harness your analytical skills to extract key data from enterprise systems, conducting thorough analyses that support our supply chain activities.


Responsibilities:
• Extract key data from enterprise systems and conducts analysis to support 
supply chain activities. 
• Assist Power BI team in developing reports and dashboards that automatically 
refresh to reduce manual reporting.
• Reviews system information versus actual quantities of materials and inventory.
• Engage appropriate supply chain team resources, SAP & IT support resources 
as needed when issues are identified or there are new system needs.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of periodic reports and metrics.
• Provide support to the operations and sourcing organizations as needed
• Maintain database(s) related to supply chain data management & support
• Present data and information in meaningful way to Supply Chain organization
• Ensure prompt follow-through of action items that result from IBP and other
processes.
• Support the standardization of IBP Step 3 process aligned with best practices
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects as identified to improve overall 
performance across the Supply Chain network.


Qualifications:
• College Degree (4-year degree program) in Supply Chain, Engineering, or 
Business
• Strong computer and analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SAP,
APO, and SAC strongly desired. 
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Completion of APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) is 
preferred or expectation to complete within first year of role.

• Industrial Supply Chain & Asset Scheduling experience strongly preferred

• Six Sigma / Lean certification preferred or expectation to complete within first year of role
