About the Role:
Join a dynamic Operations Team supporting a fast-growing medical device company. As a Buyer/Planner, you’ll play a critical role in scaling manufacturing operations by refining processes and systems. You’ll work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales to manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage purchasing and inventory across 250–300 custom SKUsProcess 20–30 purchase orders per month, from basic supplies to complex componentsExecute change orders, inventory disposition tasks, and vendor/supplier communicationsSupport domestic and international shipmentsPerform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracyCollaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, including negotiationMaintain an organized warehouse: receiving, storing, picking, and packing inventoryMaterials You’ll Work With:
Plastics (injection molding, extrusion)AdhesivesElectronics (circuit boards, cables, wire harnesses)Stamped metalsSystems & Tools:
Fishbowl ERP – Inventory management (90% of daily use; huge plus if experienced)Arena – Quality system with complex workflowsHubSpot – CRM and marketingRequired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field5+ years in supply chain, preferably in complex medical device manufacturingStrong back ground in purchasing, planning, and schedulingExperience working cross-functionally across departmentsFamiliarity with international suppliers and negotiationsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in startup to mid-sized medical device companiesBuyer/Planner back ground with a focus on process improvement3+ years of experience with Fishbowl ERPExposure to MRI environment materialsExperience with domestic and international shipping logisticsPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $43.27/hr.
