Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a full-time Early Career Supply Chain Quality Engineer. In this role, you will drive process improvements with our supply base to reduce variation and non-conformances in our products while verifying and leading changes to ensure the right part is delivered at the right time, at the best cost, with 100% Quality. You will work with high value hardware on the floor to ensure that defects are identified and dealt with in the right way every time. You will provide support to our multiple Production Areas and Receiving Inspection team located on the Waterton Campus in Littleton, CO. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation, the ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications, and demonstrates thorough attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, etc.)
* Basic understanding of manufacturing and hardware engineering processes.
* Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications.
* Prior work or classroom experience working in a team environment involving coordination of multiple projects and competing priorities

* Must be able to work off shifts or non-standard work weeks (i.e. Thursday through Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off, non-standard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries and support production)
* This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
* Previous experience in manufacturing and/or quality including inspection, testing, and certification of products
* Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications.
* Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
* Experience with Root Cause Analysis
* Green Belt Trained and/or Certified Quality
Engineer (CQE) - understands lean manufacturing
and quality optimization in a production environment
* Experience with SAP or manufacturing execution systems and data analytics to report trends and achieve results
* Strong communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment and/or electrical engineering background or related work experience in an adjacent field
* Demonstrated understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering technologies

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $54,900 - $96,830. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
