Supply Chain Project Manager for New Product Introductions

One of our large Medical Device companies is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will be accountable to drive the Surgical Equipment Supply Chain deliverables required to progress critical R&D initiatives through our New Product Pipeline.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
o Leadership through concept generation and execution for new product innovation projects.
o Communicates direction in ongoing strategic rationale for projects and for the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of projects.
o Analyzes, measures, and tracks project results, reports on progress, and optimizes program processes.
o Accountable to follow processes and procedures to ensure the Supply Chain is informed, engaged and prepared to deliver the Value Stream strategies and/or Launch Management strategies. The role will need to drive cross-functional teams to alignment and delivery of project objectives. In addition, they will be ensuring their Value Stream Team and/or Launch Management team is informed and understands the health of the Supply Chain for the business segment(s).
o Ensures governance compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the department and its operations.
o Facilitates risk assessments, drives informed decision-making, and ensures the resolution of critical issues.
o Manages aspects of team operations (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance) and ensures achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
o The Supply Chain Project Manager develops a strong understanding of the business segment including the Supply Chain as well as financial metrics/levers, marketing, insights, quality and business processes.
o They need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership, team skills, and communication skills and work within multiple levels of the Franchise.
o The accountabilities for the position include leading and facilitating interdisciplinary teams responsible for Supply Chain activities/projects necessary to enable the Launch Management projects to support the Portfolio.

Skills and Requirements
o Minimum of a Bachelors Degree required
o 15+ years of business experience preferably in a health care industry with at least 4+ years of cumulative experience in one or more of the following functions (Manufacturing, engineering, new product management, planning, other supply chain disciplines, R&D).
o 4+ years of Project management experience required with demonstrated experience in successfully leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
o Demonstrated ability in logistics and analytics.
o Demonstrated Leadership skills with strong communication skills.
o Demonstrated ability to partner, build consensus, to lead teams through influence rather than authority, and build collaborative relationships.
o Demonstrated superior matrix management, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills -PMP
