Supply Chain Production Scheduler
Job Title: Supply Chain Production Scheduler Job Description The Production Scheduler plays a pivotal role in coordinating supply chain activities, monitoring inventory across the warehouse network, ensuring the timely delivery of goods, and managing production planning and processing of co-manufacturing/production lines. Responsibilities + Plan production materials across multiple locations and co-manufacturers. + Process orders for co-manufactures and multiple warehouse locations. + Coordinate materials between warehouses and production facilities. + Review materials requirement planning for daily transfers. + Manage and create purchase orders for offsite warehouse locations. + Handle freight management across multiple warehouses, considering delivery requirements, lead times, and allergen requirements. + Identify requirements for order fulfillment, safety stock, and new product introductions. + Address aged, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory action items promptly. + Optimize production planning while considering allergens, sanitization, and changeover impacts. + Communicate with Customer Care and update the OCR daily or as changes occur. + Coordinate and manage the cycle count program within each warehouse. + Lead weekly scheduling reviews with production, maintenance, and quality groups. + Provide analysis and follow-up to ensure all plant service, inventory, and other KPIs are met or exceeded. + Serve as a necessary backup for key roles within the supply chain. + Attend and participate in daily meetings. Essential Skills + 3+ years of production scheduling experience. + Intermediate Excel skills. + ERP experience. + Analytical skills. + Adaptability. + Problem-solving skills. + Team-oriented. Additional Skills & Qualifications + APICS Certification preferred. + Bachelor's degree preferred. + Food/Beverage Industry experience preferred. + Advanced Excel user preferred. Work Environment The position is fully on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr. Eligible for all insurance offered. Medical, dental and vision.
