Description Procurement for multiple campusesOrder ManagementRFP's/bidsManages billing conflictsCustomer/supplier relationsInteracts with suppliers to secure high-quality, cost-effective supplies, equipment, and service for multiple hospital campuses and physician practicesDetermines if sole source or if competitive purchasing activities are neededDevelops specifications, identifies potential sources and prepares formal requests for proposal or bid documentsReviews and analyzes responses, communicates the results and collaborates with customers to determine the supplier that provides the best valueDetermines the best appropriate method of acquiring goods and services by evaluating the elements of each request including the value, determining delivery requirements and researching sources of supplyEmploys online requisitioning system and other online tools in the procurement processReviews requisitions for accuracy and places ordersReviews order confirmations and back order reports to determine if substitutes are neededIdentifies substitutes if not already vetted, reviews with and obtains clinical approval, places ordersManages open orders by reviewing open order reports and following up with suppliersReviews invoice information routed online by Accounts PayableContacts suppliers to resolve invoice disputes to ensure correct 3-way match and contract complianceDevelops and maintains relationships with customers and suppliersRepresents Supply Chain in meetings with suppliers and customersEnsures that customers are compliant with policies and proceduresMay supervise less experienced staff membersMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
