Supply Chain PMO Director

We are currently seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Supply Chain PMO Director to lead and drive our Supply Chain & Specialty Pharmacy Modernization Initiatives. Position Overview: The Supply Chain PMO Director will play a pivotal role in modernizing our supply chain and specialty pharmacy operations, focusing on the integration of advanced technologies, supply chain infrastructure, and innovative processes. This position will involve strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring that supply chain projects align with CVS Health’s overall objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, project management, and a passion for driving change through modernization. The individual in this role with have oversight of a significant portion of our transformation budget and roadmap and will need to effectively manage budget and communicate performance of project delivery. Developing sound PMO structure and implementation of effective communication mechanisms and governance will be critical to the success of this role. Key Responsibilities: + Leadership and Strategy: + Develop and implement a forward-looking PMO strategy for supply chain projects, emphasizing modernization and alignment with CVS Health’s mission and goals. + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project management team focused on innovative supply chain and specialty pharmacy initiatives. + Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize modernization projects and allocate resources effectively. + Project Management Standards: + Establish and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and best practices that support modernization efforts in supply chain and specialty pharmacy operations. + Ensure the consistent application of agile project management processes across all supply chain projects to enhance responsiveness and adaptability. + Monitor project performance and provide guidance to project managers in implementing modern technologies and practices. + Portfolio Management: + Oversee the supply chain project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource availability for modernization initiatives. + Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide updates to senior management on project status, performance, and modernization impact. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with the delivery of modernization projects. + Stakeholder Engagement: + Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives, project teams, technology partners, and external vendors. + Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of modernization initiatives. + Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain project-related inquiries and escalations. + Continuous Improvement: + Analyze project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation in supply chain processes. + Implement process improvements and modern technologies to enhance supply chain project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. + Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management and project management, particularly in specialty pharmacy. Required Qualifications: + Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management leadership role overseeing PMO/project management teams + Experience with supply chain processes, methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma/WMS), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA). Preferred Qualifications: + PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification + Specialty Pharmacy background + Master’s degree + Proven experience in leading modernization initiatives within a supply chain context, including the integration of technology, infrastructure or data analytics. + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and modernization. + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
