Supply Chain Planner
Job Title: Supply Chain Planner This role is on-site in South Austin! Applicants must be able to travel to the on-site location daily. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Planner to join our Technology Operations team. This role is pivotal in planning, analyzing, and coordinating the components and materials planning, as well as production planning, to meet company objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Manufacturing Operations, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain leadership. This position is based in Austin, TX, and requires a candidate with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience with ERP, MRP, and inventory management systems. Responsibilities + Coordinate and release manufacturing work orders to the production floor, ensuring adherence to production timelines. + Communicate material supply requirements to Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to support the production plan. + Participate in regular planning discussions with the Technology Operations leadership team. + Report and address potential inventory discrepancies and work with the Inventory Control team to implement corrective actions. + Drive discussions on risk, planning sensitivity analyses, and align on strategic decisions. + Work to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring material availability for production and field operations. + Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. + Utilize inventory management systems to support production work orders and supply requirements. + Generate reports and provide insights to enhance planning efficacy and organizational understanding. Essential Skills + Strong proficiency in inventory management systems such as ERP or WMS software, with a preference for Oracle/NetSuite. + Expertise in Microsoft Excel and analytics applications. + Ability to analyze data and generate reports to improve planning accuracy. + Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of planning best practices, stock replenishment, and demand forecasting. + Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a high-growth or startup environment is advantageous. + Experience with supply chain and production planning processes, including work orders and purchase orders. Work Environment This role offers a flexible work schedule, typically Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The work environment is dynamic, with opportunities to make significant impacts in a unique and revolutionary space. This position involves a combination of supply chain and production planning, requiring cross-functional collaboration and centralized operations management. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
