Supply Chain Manager II, Amazon Robotics Supply Chain

The Global Robotics Delivery and Amazon Robotics Supply Chain organization sources and manufactures a portfolio of robotics technology and is responsible for getting the right materials to the right place at the right time to assist our network of global fulfillment and transportation solutions. It’s an operation that works cross-functionally with teams across Amazon globally, and is driven by data and metrics. The Robotics Supply Chain team is seeking a Supply Chain Manager 2 with a background in supply chain for spare parts and a knowledge of materials management and planning systems. The Supply Chain Manager 2 will manage the forecasting, material flow, order management, and inventory management for Robotics spare parts and replacement orders for Amazon Robotics and Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging product portfolios. Focus will be on developing a spare parts planning strategy, timely risk mitigation, cross functional collaboration with Engineering and Field teams, using data/metrics/(SQL/Quicksight) and planning systems (Kinaxis/SAP) to ensure operational readiness. The successful candidate will have bias for action and will be driven to meet all service level goals related to technical, quality, and delivery requirements. This role will collaborate with multiple business functions in a team environment. Key job responsibilities - Developing a forecast and spare parts strategy for MSP and Amazon Robotics - Planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, managing schedules in our ERP system, and successfully communicating these requirements to cross functional teams. - Identifying supply chain material risks and providing transparent monitoring of material flow. - Identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading a cross-functional group to execute improvements. - Working collaboratively with Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, and Field teams to communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies. - Build metrics and reports using SQL/Quicksight. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
