Supply Chain Manager
Job Title: Supply Chain ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager who thrives in a fast-moving environment. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the supply chain function, working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure a seamless flow of materials, data, and communication across the business.

ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and materials planning.Lead and develop the supply chain team with strong supervisory and coaching abilities.Drive dual-sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity, particularly around chemical commodities.Serve as the primary link between Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams.Ensure accurate and timely communication of material changes, supplier updates, timelines, and technical requirements.Lead the usage and integration of three key software systems used by the business.Leverage strong ERP experience to drive system improvements; proficiency in any robust ERP is acceptable.Utilize MES/barcode systems and support ERP development initiatives.Build and maintain KPIs to track and improve supply chain performance.Own the supply chain budget, contract strategy, contract negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.Support demand planning, forecasting, and material analysis.Essential Skills10+ years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.Background spanning buyer, analyst, and supervisory/leadership roles.Strong experience with sourcing and commodity management, preferably chemical commodities.Proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor communication & relationship management.Experience with ERP systems (any major ERP; Sightline is a plus).Strong skills in demand planning, KPI development & reporting.Experience in budgeting & financial management.Ability to adapt quickly, problem-solve, and operate with a high level of ownership.Additional Skills & QualificationsProactive, communicative leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and excellent cross-functional collaboration.Work Environment

This role is based in Kent, OH, operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It involves approximately 60% time on the production floor collaborating with Engineering and Quality Managers and 40% time in the office handling administrative duties. The company is a global leader in flexible laminates and thermoplastic materials, delivering innovative solutions to major aircraft and rail manufacturers worldwide.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
