To enable us to succeed in this endeavor, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager in the Amazon Freight team. The individual will play a critical role in driving projects with a heavy emphasis on utilizing data to make business decisions. They will use quantitative approaches such as cost/benefit evaluation to evaluate opportunities, stand up initiatives, create mechanisms for operational excellence, and oversee end-to-end program. Key job responsibilities 1. Analyze large amount of data from different operational and financial sources to evaluate opportunities for customer experience enhancement and operational efficiency. 2. Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and oversee end-to-end projects. 3. Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared goals. 4. Make data-driven recommendations and influence design and development of strategic processes. A day in the life Main areas of ownership include: (1) analyzing large amount of data from different operational and financial sources to evaluate opportunities, (2) building consensus among stakeholders on potential solutions, (3) driving implementation, and (4) identifying requirements for a scalable solution across the network. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) - Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc. - 3+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience Preferred Qualifications - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to leadership Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
