AWS-Infrastructure team is looking for a results-oriented individual to assume responsibility for every facet of data and communication to ensure our partners and our leaders have the most up to date and reliable information to help them make the best possible decision. This is a perfect position for someone who knows how to manage fast and smart. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, and have a passion for using data to drive business decisions. Key job responsibilities
- Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction
- Partner with your team and oversee pricing operations, develop analytical models / automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners
- Engage with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction.
- Work with technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.
- Analyze and solve business problems at their root.
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in sourcing fair pricing and accurately estimating freight cost.
- Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction.
- Partner with your team and oversee the auditing operations and develop analytical models / SQL automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners.
- Design exception based reporting highlighting and analyzing outliers.
- Weekly discussions reporting on pricing gaps, spot quotes, and areas of improvement.
