Supply Chain Lead (Vietnam)
Overview To manage and develop over all Supply Chain functions, Customer services, Demand Planning, Supply planning, Logistics (Distribution and Transportation) including Import and Export for RM/PM and FG. To work partnering with Commercial team to define the SC strategy to support business growth by improving Service Level and ensuring NPD (New Production Development) launched in-time To manage both short and long term production capacity in order to ensure sufficient supply to delivery AOP and SDD volumes To develop the inventory policy for both RM/PM and FG to optimize operating cost, minimize write off cost and deliver aligned service level and OCF target To manage and work effectively with suppliers and Co-Man to meet the inventory target and performance To design and manage the WH/ DC operations, both internal and external, and capacities including transporters to minimize the cost and also work with GP on the bidding processes To manage customer orders and delivery to meet service level target and optimize SC cost-to-serve To lead the SC AOP, weekly S&OE, monthly S&OP, network optimization and productivity to improve cost and services Build the organization capability to achieve business growth and continuously improve team capability. Lead and transform the LD&T operations from manual to automation and constantly implement initiatives to improve plant productivity to support business growth. Logistics Network analysis LD&T NGF Project Lead Responsibilities SC Planning management: a) Lead S&OE and S&OP meeting effectively in order to improve the service level and ensure sufficient supply (inventory) to meet short and long term demands b) Develop the demand forecast by optimizing between bottom-up and statistically forecasting numbers. Identify the demand & supply gaps and work cross functionally to align the plan to cost the gap. c) Manage demand review and supply review to support S&OE and S&OP meeting d) Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand plan. e) Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. f) Partner with Sales team, Marketing team on managing new products, and product phase-outs, taking into account strategic and integrated wider business planning. g) Develop supply plan (MPS) for both constraint and unconstraint and work with production on scheduling to ensure sufficient inventory to support the demand and growth h) Manage the DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning) to make sure all DC inventory targets are delivered as per plan set i) Manage the supply plan based on forecast accuracy and suppliers’ reliability and supply lead time to optimize the stock level as per policy set to improve OTIF and CFR j) Tracking, alert and follow up the action plan to solve slow moving and obsolete products, unused material based on decision from Commercial Director & SC Director. k) Verify production plan monthly for copacker and approve for material request as approval matrix. Warehouse management: Manage raw materials and packing materials inventory and availability to support the production effectively as per plan set Manage raw material and packing material including FG inventory, stock accuracy and FEFO to minimize cost. Additionally conduct a physical inventory regularly to comply with Global control Standard (GCS) as company policy. Manage the WH/DC operating cost to meet the AOP targets Control all warehouse operation activities followed company process, system, policy and standard (I2C, GMP, AIB, EHS, stocktaking….) Transportation management: a) Develop optimized distribution network (combine routes, maximize truck utilization/load and select the distribution for each area….) to fulfill demand forecast at lowest cost. b) Work with Procurement on bidding process to minimize the transportation cost and improve the efficiency c) Build AOP, OPEX and transportation expense annually based on sales forecast and control freight cost monthly based on approved budget. d) Manage raw material, packing material and FG transferring plan effectively to Co-man and DC to minimize the double handling cost including demurrage and detention cost at the port and control transportation cost in line with AOP. e) Manage the daily delivery schedule to deliver the product to meeting the Sales order request with no/low damanging products or returns. f) Track performance, feedback timely, approve and follow up action to meet the service levels and KPIs. Import-Export management: To ensure all import Material, FGs, …. from oversea requirements are adequately and timely met and product are exported to meeting customers’ request delivery date. Logisctics management: Manage overall logistics cost, track performance with timely feedback, approve and follow up action to manage service level agreement or KPIs Build organization capability: a) Set objectives and key KPIs, assess performance & provide feedback to team as Performance Management Process b) Suggest and provide recognition & discipline to the team c) Coach, develop functional capability to the team d) Create a motivating and rewarding work environment e) Monitor staff turnover and provide action plan to solve such problem f) Self- development. GCS: As a control owner, perform control roles and responsibility in accordance with PepsiCo Accountability model. a) Support Process Owner in driving GCS agenda. b) Understand the objective of the assigned control(s) and document the test script attributes for effective execution of the control, evaluate control effectiveness through testing as per GCS guidelines and maintain an audit trail to evidence execution of the activities. c) Ensure timely remediation of any control deficiencies. Change management & digital transformation: a) Define the change strategy to lead LD&T to the new level of performance to enable VNF business growth sustainably in H1-H3 of SDD. b) Collaborate with IT to deploy the digital transformation project for LD&T successfully by addressing all challenges on processes, manpower, technology to build LD&T the best in class SC in Asia BU. Experience: At least 7+ year experience in Supply Chain management, especially in S&OP process, supply planning, demand planning and logistics management Experienced in supply chain process and ERP system such as SAP, gTMS, WMS (eWMS) or IBP Experienced in end-to-end Supply Chain management is preferrable
