Supply Chain Development, Region EUCAN

Ørestad, Denmark

Do you want to help shape one of the most strategically important supply chain transformations in Novo Nordisk Europe & Canada?

We are launching a major initiative to strengthen cold‑chain capacity, enhance resilience, enable late‑stage customization, improve responsiveness, and balance supply and demand across 37 affiliates - all while future‑proofing our regional logistics setup.

To bring this ambitious programme to life, we are hiring a full‑time Supply Chain Development Manager to drive the end‑to‑end implementation across markets, internal functions, and our selected logistics partner (3PL).

Your new role

As Supply Chain Development Manager, you will be the primary engine behind implementation.

You will translate strategic ambitions into operational execution, ensuring a seamless go‑live and a scalable, robust setup. You’ll work closely with the core project team, EUCAN affiliates, global functions, IT, Finance, Quality, Procurement, and our external logistics partner.

In more details you will:

Lead the multi‑phase rollout across EUCAN affiliates according to the implementation plan.

Serve as the daily implementation lead between Novo Nordisk and the selected 3PL partner.

Define and document end‑to‑end product flows, inventory profiles, and replenishment logic.

Oversee IT integration, ERP/WMS/TMS readiness, testing cycles, and data migration.

Collaborate with Finance to secure optimal VAT flows and compliant financial processes.

Drive affiliate onboarding, readiness assessments, training, and go‑live support.

Establish KPIs, ensure performance tracking, and manage risks proactively.

Your new department

The Supply Chain organisation is focused on delivering reliable and future-proof end-to-end supply chain planning with the use of digital tools and in close cooperation across the global organisation.

Your skills & qualifications

You are an ideal candidate if you can turn data into insights, drive development in collaboration with stakeholders on different levels, resolve complex issues, work proactively, and make informed decisions. Additionally, you should be adept at expanding your internal network and communicate effectively and transparently.

Moreover, you are expected to meet the following requirements:

Experience with large‑scale, multi‑country distribution implementations, warehouse operations, 3PL/4PL setups, and/or distribution network design.

Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation flows, cold‑chain operations, and inventory management.

Proven project and stakeholder management skills in a multi‑market environment.

Experience with IT integrations and supply‑chain systems.

Excellent communication skills and a structured approach to problem‑solving, including a strong commercial mindset.
