Supply Chain Clerk
Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and logistics, is seeking a Supply Chain Clerk to join their team. As a Supply Chain Clerk, you will be part of the procurement and inventory management department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive communication, and organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Supply Chain Clerk **Location:** Agoura Hills, CA **Pay Range:** $22 **Shift:** 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday **What's the Job?** + Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved pricing, contracts, and inventory requirements. + Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and maintain current vendor pricing and lead-time information. + Track open purchase orders, expedite late shipments, and coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery. + Verify order accuracy by reconciling requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and receipts; resolve discrepancies and shipment errors. + Maintain accurate purchasing records, files, and system data including pricing, orders, inventories, and delivery status. **What's Needed?** + 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory control in a transactional or administrative capacity. + Proficiency in ERP/MRP or purchasing systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and strong Excel skills, including basic reporting, data entry integrity, and reconciliation. + Experience coordinating with vendors, carriers, or freight forwarders, including tracking shipments, expediting late orders, and resolving discrepancies. + Demonstrated attention to detail and process discipline, with a track record of maintaining accurate records, managing multiple open orders, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear follow-up with suppliers and effective coordination with internal stakeholders across operations, accounting, and warehouse teams. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on operational excellence. + Engage in meaningful work supporting procurement and inventory management processes. + Gain valuable experience with leading supply chain systems and practices. + Collaborate with a diverse and inclusive team committed to your professional growth. + Work in a professional office environment with standard office equipment and resources. **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
