This will be a remote position geographically located to align with strategic NGDS sites across the US. Primary responsibilities include invoicing, Transportation and Logistics, Supplier Onboarding, and Supply Chain Risk. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with Ryder preferred.
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for processes and activities within supply chain related operations and/or compliance such as regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics and performance, international supply chain and operations
Manages, develops or supports strategic direction and tactical execution of governance (policy, procedure, processes, etc.), priorities, initiatives and related activities
Supplier Administration
Supplier Risk Management
Transportation and Logistics support
Support development and execution of solutions for digitalizing supply chain across the enterprise, including contributing to:
Solution Requirements Definition
Source Selection and Solution Development
Solution Training, Pilot and Scale
Support Sector digital transformation activities, including engagement with capture teams, divisions and programs to strategize on pilots, pathfinders and adoption
Role model cultural and Agile best practices, and drive openness to external perspectives
Operate in the gray and be comfortable with ambiguity
Take the big picture and distill down to executable actions
Partner and align with leaders cross-functionally on strategy
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ experience, Master's degree with 2 years’ experience or a High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years’ of experience in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Organization Effectiveness, Project Management, Training or related industry experience
In-depth understanding of Supply Chain Procurement / Subcontract process
Significant understanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial contracting
Ability to couple specific expertise and enterprise mindset to drive a best-in-class enterprise future state
Record of collaborating across organizational boundaries to understand best practices or to share learnings from local initiatives
Ability to travel to other Northrop Grumman sites up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience executing in an environment that leveraged advanced digital tools and capabilities
Understanding of:
The internal organization and culture
Digital trends and developments that are impacting Supply Chain and the industry more broadly
The competitive landscape, market trends, and stakeholder needs
Ability to coach others throughout the organization to manage key elements of the transformation
Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
