Supply Chain Associate
Description Sr. Associate, Transportation- Parcel Location: Remote The schedule for this position will be M-F 10am-6pm EST About the Team DoorDash Drive is looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Associate of Transportation, Parcel on our New Verticals team. DoorDash Drive is our company's hyper-growth platform team serving restaurants, grocers and retailers across the United States, Canada and Australia. The business line you’ll be supporting is fast-growing, fast-paced, and is obsessed with efficiency. We are looking for someone to manage daily site regional operations via our 3P relationships. About the Role as the Sr. Associate, Transportation, you will play a key role in leading the day-to-day parcel movement across the U.S., with a focus on real-time shipment visibility, exception management, and carrier performance. You will act as a team lead for our Track and Trace team, helping to guide daily operations, coaching the team, and driving process improvements, while also being hands-on in the day-to-day operations. This role will report to the Associate Manager of Transportation. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Own: Oversee daily transportation operations, including shipment monitoring, exception resolution, and carrier communication to ensure on-time performance Lead: Serve as Team Lead for the Track & Trace team, guiding daily workflows, offering real-time support, and helping the team stay aligned on service priorities Optimize: Build and evolve SOPs and performance playbooks that drive process improvements and operational efficiencies Delight customers: Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Support, and Carrier teams to ensure seamless execution and a consistent customer experience. We’re excited about you because… You bring 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations You have successfully managed or led a team, ensuring high performance, consistency, and adherence to service levels You have a strong focus on real-time shipment monitoring, rapid exception resolution, and effective carrier communication You approach service failures with a root cause mindset and collaborate cross-functionally to drive sustainable corrective actions You know how to build, implement, and evolve scalable processes in a dynamic environment You’re able to juggle being a critical liaison between transportation providers, customer service teams, and fulfillment centers to maintain seamless service and clear communication across the network You are comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, and tracking data. Bonus Points: You have experience with TMS platforms (Turvo, Mercury Gate, or similar) You’ve worked in Zendesk or similar CX software You’ve worked in a fast-paced startup environment You have built and trained high-performing teams Additional Skills & Qualifications · You are outgoing, diplomatic, self-motivated, self-starter · Tech Savvy and have a strong passion for technology · You are a “people person” and have experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or food services industries · You have a knack for building excitement and generating awareness. · You have excellent written and verba Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
