Supply Chain Associate in Washington, DC

Job Description

As a Supply Chain Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining accurate product needs, inventories, and replenishing supplies located on nursing units and other user areas based on established par levels. You will recognize and communicate changes in supply needs, report recommendations to the supervisor for investigation, and adapt to such changes accordingly.

ResponsibilitiesProcess all supply requests not automated via the Order Entry System for supplemental inventory needed to replenish assigned areas, including open shelf par cart and supplemental Pxyis supplies based on unit needs.Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for medical and surgical supplies.Track and monitor supply and equipment order requests.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supply and equipment orders.Troubleshoot supply and equipment issues and resolve them promptly.Essential SkillsFluency in EnglishMedical supply knowledgeWarehouse or stocking experienceAbility to work independentlyAdditional Skills & QualificationsHospital experience preferredWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment offers multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules: First Shift starting at either 5am or 6am, second shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and third shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
