Job Title: Supply Chain AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will effectively manage sales orders and logistics requirements for customers while maintaining clear communication with internal counterparts. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our supply chain operations.

ResponsibilitiesManage sales orders and logistics requirements efficiently.Communicate effectively with internal counterparts regarding supply chain tasks.Process purchase orders from contracts in a timely manner.Utilize ERP systems (such as SAP) to enhance supply chain processes.Provide exceptional customer service and support logistics operations.Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless operations.
Essential Skills2+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.Proficient in ERP systems, such as SAP, with at least 2 years of experience.2+ years of experience in processing purchase orders from contracts.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to act swiftly and confidently.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.Experience with the automation of supply chain processes is valued.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant computer applications.Experience with systems such as AS400, MAS 90, Microsoft Dynamics, Sharepoint, Quickbooks, and Lotus Notes is beneficial but not required.Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Work Environment

The role requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday for the first two weeks. Once trained, employees may work virtually 1-2 days per week, typically on Monday and Friday. The workday ends at 5 pm, with a flexible start time of 8 or 8:30 am, and includes an hour or half-hour lunch break. This position is to replace a retiring team member, and immediate availability is preferred for training purposes. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
