Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Analyst to enhance business efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making within supply chain, inventory, procurement, and order fulfillment functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, evaluating system performance, and implementing technology-driven solutions. This role involves supporting the implementation of a new facility in Detroit Lakes, managing data through BI tools and Excel, and assisting the pricing department to optimize pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

Generate and analyze key performance indicators to measure business performance and develop comprehensive reporting to assess procurement operational effectiveness.

Provide meaningful insights by collecting and analyzing data related to procurement and warehouse logistics, including inventory levels, order volumes, picking and packing efficiency, and labor utilization.

Maintain data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of data and identifying opportunities for operational improvements in purchasing, pricing, and warehouse operations.

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and warehouse management to gather data, understand requirements, and develop solutions for operational challenges.

Adopt a profit-minded approach by identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions through data analysis and collaborating with stakeholders to implement appropriate changes.

Essential Skills

Strong knowledge of ERP systems, such as Infor Cloud Suite Distribution, Epicor Prophet21, or Oracle NetSuite.

3+ years of experience as a systems analyst, business analyst, or operations analyst in a wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environment.

Experience with warehouse management/logistics software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Industry experience related to building materials.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work in Minneapolis every day, with a reporting structure to the operations manager. The company operates 15 different locations across the nation, offering a smaller company feel. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
