Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystJob Description
The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, evaluate system performance, and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making across supply chain, inventory, procurement, and order fulfillment functions. You will play a crucial role in supporting a new facility in Detroit Lakes and work extensively with BI tools and Excel to extract and clean up product data. Collaboration with the pricing department to enhance competitive pricing strategies is also essential.
Responsibilities
+ Generate and analyze key performance indicators to measure business performance.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting to assess procurement operational effectiveness and its impact on warehouse operations.
+ Provide meaningful insights by collecting and analyzing data related to procurement and warehouse logistics, including inventory levels, order volumes, and labor utilization.
+ Ensure data integrity by maintaining accuracy and consistency, and identify opportunities for operational improvements in purchasing, pricing, and warehouse operations.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and warehouse management to gather data and develop solutions for operational challenges.
+ Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions through data analysis and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement changes.
Essential Skills
+ Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Infor CloudSuite Distribution, Epicor Prophet21, Oracle NetSuite).
+ 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst, business analyst, or operations analyst, preferably in a wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environment.
+ Experience with Warehouse Management/Logistics Software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Industry experience related to building or construction.
+ Proficient in BI tools and Excel.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
This position requires working on-site in Minne every day, reporting to the operations manager. The company has 15 different locations across the nation and provides a smaller company feel. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
