Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Analyst to monitor plant performance and identify cost-saving opportunities, while developing insightful reports for management. The role involves gathering data from diverse sources to track cattle performance, processing efficiency, and market trends, and identifying areas for process improvement to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to weight, quality, processing time, and cost-effectiveness.Maintain inventory reports and collaborate with Shipping and Production to resolve inventory issues.Conduct detailed analyses and generate visualizations based on production data.Assist in writing SQL queries for generating new reports.Participate in special data projects, such as New Building Data Reports.Assist in creating and managing dashboards.Prepare management reports summarizing key findings, trends, and recommendations.Analyze costs associated with cattle production, processing, and distribution to identify opportunities for cost reduction.Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and supplies to optimize storage and distribution.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.Essential SkillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.Proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as Excel and SQL.3+ years of experience as a Data/Supply Chain/Inventory Analyst.Advanced Excel experience, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the food industry is a plus.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on identifying improvement areas.A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.Experience with Power BI, Outlook, quotes, and invoices.Manufacturing or food/animal industry experience is a plus.Work Environment

The position is based in a state-of-the-art facility with a new office building attached to a large warehouse. Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM, with a requirement to work longer hours as needed. The team is small, requiring members to wear multiple hats and be on-site five days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.84/hr.
