Supplies Patient Care Coordinator
Job Title: Supplies Patient Care Coordinator Job Description As a Supplies Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for confirming orders with patients, ensuring accuracy, and addressing any questions related to pricing or products. You will receive and process supply orders generated by the system for patients due for replenishment and utilize the Bright Tree System to navigate NJ HMO websites, commercial insurance portals, and Medicare systems. Your role will involve contacting insurance providers to verify benefits and coverage, assigning appropriate codes in the internal system, and submitting required forms for insurance approval after delivery. Responsibilities + Confirm orders with patients, ensuring accuracy and addressing questions. + Receive and process supply orders for patients due for replenishment. + Utilize Bright Tree System to navigate insurance portals. + Contact insurance providers to verify benefits and coverage. + Assign appropriate codes in the internal system and submit forms for insurance approval. + Print order details, pack supplies, and prepare shipments. + Coordinate with USPS or subcontracted delivery services for timely delivery. + Track delivery confirmations and submit documentation for insurance reimbursement. + Handle high call volume, including inbound and outbound calls to patients and insurance providers. + Maintain patience and professionalism while assisting patients. + Follow insurance-specific requirements for order approval and shipment. + Ensure all processes meet regulatory and company standards. Essential Skills + Prior insurance verification experience (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance) + Data entry and customer service skills + Prefer bachelor's degree, open to associate's degree + Strong multitasking skills + Insurance experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prefer DME experience, can consider candidates with a production experience + Prefer bilingual in Spanish/English Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and patient-focused, requiring high interaction with healthcare providers. The position operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend shifts. The current team consists of 2 members. The company is family-owned and has been established for 32 years, fostering a close-knit atmosphere where many employees have from and work alongside family members. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
