Supplier Quality Specialist
Job Title: Supplier Quality Specialist

Job Description

Provide leadership in developing strategies to enhance the overall quality and on-time delivery of incoming products through supplier management and development. Serve as a leader and a resource regarding supplier quality issues, problem solving, and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the supplier creation process with the Supplier Performance Team to ensure timely completion of all requests for new suppliers.Manage all aspects of vendor account maintenance to ensure up-to-date records of all certifications and approvals within the supply chain.Produce monthly Supplier Performance data, including Supplier Scorecards, On Holds, and Rejection data for internal distribution and to the supply chain.Compile analytical Supplier Performance data as requested and work with the team to identify areas for improvement.Generate periodic strategic Supplier Risk Analysis to drive objectives and improve supplier performance.Manage and maintain the organization's Self Release audit and maintenance processes, reporting any concerns for action implementation.Manage the Supplier Performance visit and audit schedule, ensuring timely completion and accurate reflection of visits, audit completions, actions, and closure status.

Quality assurance, quality inspection, quality controlDocument review and controlExcellent English communication skills—verbal and writtenAttention to detailProficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other MS Office applicationsStrong analytical and organizational skills2-4 years of related work experienceExperience in QA inspection, preferably within the Aerospace or Medical industry

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred)Supplier Performance or related experience4-6 years of related work experience (preferred)Knowledge of AS9100/9120 StandardsInternal and/or External Auditing training/qualifications

Office environment within a distribution facility. The workplace is air-conditioned, very clean, and well-organized, offering regular hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $50.00/hr.
