Manpower Engineering is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our client’s automotive manufacturing team in Detroit, MI. This is an onsite role focused on ensuring supplier parts meet quality standards and launch timelines. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, engineering, and schedulers to drive PPAP approvals, resolve quality concerns, and support new product launches.Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in PPAP processes: writing, reviewing, and approving submissions. Monitor supply constraints and quality concerns; issue deviations when necessary. Support new supplier launches to ensure parts meet specifications and delivery schedules. Maintain and track project timelines for multiple part changes and launches.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 2–4 years’ experience in supplier quality or manufacturing engineering preferred. Strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP, AIAG Core Tools, and quality systems (IATF 16949/ISO 9001). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Familiarity with CAD and related engineering software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Why Join Us?
