Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer** **Location: Detroit, MI** **Pay Rate: Pay is up to $42/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)** **Key Responsibilities** + Specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application. + Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. + May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. **Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in engineering required. + 5-7 years experience required. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards.
