**Job Description: Supply Quality Engineer – Field ServicesCommodity Expert** **A Snapshotof Your Day** As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for Field Services, you influence supplier decisions and you work with suppliers to develop them in alignment with Siemens Energy's needs for capacity, capability, and cost. You excel in a diverse team of professionals, fully bringing to bear the expertise of both the team and you. **HowYou’ll Make an Impact** + Be the point of contact for the Field Service GlobalCommodity Manager in developing procurement strategies and projectplanning, supplier identification, capability assessment audits and drivingstandards. + Typical services are Scaffolding, Assemblies,Machining, Blasting, Welding, NDT, Mechanical and Electrical Installationand Commissioning, Site management and several more Siemens Energyimplements a wide range of different services with worldwide applied codes/standardsand EHS requirements. + Lead a distributed team of Supply QualityEngineers in collaborative learning and training + Supplier /Product and Process Qualification: Supportcross-functional teams in Execution Units to perform Product and ProcessQualification (PPQ) for Field service approvals. The process of PPQincludes the planning, tracking, and reporting of project milestones aswell as budget and resource needs. + Be a key expert in improving and developing strategicSuppliers and supporting critical technical issues by being a creator andowner of a commodity/technology network. **WhatYou Bring** + Bachelor’s or master's degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanicalengineering or a similar discipline + 5 + years of professional experience in an area of Field Service,supplier quality management, procurement and Environment, Health & Safety + Experience performing supplier qualification, technical supplierassessment & development to provide a global quality-assured andcost-effective supply base + Experience in leading projects and running virtual multi-functionalteams in an international environment + Willingness to travel up to 20% (Domestical & International) + Strong written and verbal communication skills in English About the Team Our Corporate and Global Functions are essential in driving the company's strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across various departments, business areas, and regions.
