Job Description **Work location:** Landskrona, Sweden **Who will you work with?** Wabtec Faiveley Nordic AB is part of Wabtec Corporation, a system supplier to the international railway industry. We are a world-leading supplier of brake components and a service provider for the rail industry. You will work closely with both suppliers and internal functions in a technically complex and international environment, with a strong focus on preventive quality work and continuous improvements. **How will you make a difference?** As a **Supplier Quality Engineer** , you will be responsible for ensuring that our external suppliers meet Wabtec’s quality requirements, standards, and expectations. **What will your typical day look like?** + Ensure that external suppliers meet Wabtec’s quality requirements and standards + Initiate, plan, and conduct supplier audits and supplier evaluations + Manage supplier non-conformances and drive corrective and preventive actions + Actively participate in technical reviews, including drawing reviews, together with suppliers + Own the APQP and PPAP processes for new and modified components + Compile, analyze, and report supplier-related quality data + Drive improvement programs at suppliers and follow up on results + Contribute to feedback and knowledge sharing, both internally and externally **What do we want to know about you?** + Technical education, such as engineering degree + +3 years experience in Quality (ideally Supplier Quality) + Proficient English and Swedish language + Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF, IRIS or similar quality standards + Experience with APQP, PPAP, and other supplier quality processes + Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving (8D, Ishikawa) + Experience with manufacturing processes such as casting, welding, surface treatment, or similar + Proficient with MS Office + Analytical and structured + A natural problem-solver with strong quality awareness + Communicative and relationship building, with good negotiation skills + Availability to travel occasionally, mainly in Sweden. **Kindly ask you apply with CV in English language.** _Legal authorization to work in EU is required.
