We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier audits, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across our supply chain. This role is ideal for someone with ties to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula or a desire to live in a small, low-cost town surrounded by nature, skiing, and mountain biking. **What You’ll Do:** + Lead supplier audits and ensure alignment with APQP and company standards. + Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues through action plans and validation. + Report supplier performance and support purchasing decisions. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material compliance. + Analyze test data and support new product launches. **What You Bring:** + 2+ years in manufacturing/quality inspection (automotive preferred). + Experience with first article inspection, PFMEA, metrology, and plastics. + Strong analytical, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills. + Familiarity with CMM (Keyence a plus), Microsoft Office, and ERP systems. + ASQ certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years. + Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred. **Why work for this company?** + Competitive salary + profit sharing + 401(k) with immediate participation + Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life) + PTO + 10 paid holidays + Career development & team-building culture + Relocation assistance depending on circumstances + Located in a scenic area with 2 ski resorts, mountain biking trails, and plenty of snow!
